Packages and Pricing
First Step - $375
This "getting started" package consists of a 3-hour interview and results in a lightly-edited transcript. A digitally-recorded CD of the interview is also provided to the client. (approximately 15 hours of production time)
Individual Legacy Book Option = $675
When interviews run 3 hours, and 30 photographs are included in the book, a flat fee of $675 will cover all production costs. Client receives one copy of their Legacy Book, as well as a CD of the unedited, digitally-recorded interview from which the book is created. (approximately 30 hours of production time)
Couples Legacy Book Option = $1175
If a married couple is interviewed for a Legacy Book that includes both partners' life stories entwined in one book, the all-inclusive package will include 6 hours of interview time, and 50 photographs. This package works best when the subjects have been married only to each other, and for more than 40 years. Clients receive one copy of their Legacy Book, as well as a CD of the unedited, digitally-recorded interview from which the book is created. (approximately 50 hours of production time)
Additional fees:
> Additional copies of individual Legacy Books are only $35.00, and can be ordered at any time after the book is published. Additional copies of couples Legacy Books are $44.00/each.
> If travel to a location more than 50 miles outside Fort Collins, Colorado, is required to interview a subject, mileage costs will accrue at a rate of .45 cents/mile for gas and travel time beyond that initial 50 miles. If an overnight stay is required, client agrees to pay hotel costs. Travel outside of Colorado will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
> If interviews run over 3 hours, additional charges will apply at a rate of $25 per half hour, due to additional production tasks and time.
> If more than one proofreading is needed, due to client's desire for significant revisions/additions, an additional $100 fee will be added.
